  • Why are Hudl & Balltime combining?

    We believe that together, Hudl and Balltime can offer volleyball teams the best tools to succeed. For any team, timely access to video and data is crucial. But teams also need simple ways to capture and upload video, support athlete development and recruitment, and share their success with fans.

    With Hudl, teams can record, livestream and share video easily, see powerful insights, and support athlete recruitment – all in the same place. Pairing those tools with Balltime’s impressive AI not only gives teams that data quickly, it gives them even more insights, like ball trajectories, serve speeds and more.

    With Balltime joining the Hudl team, we’ll deepen our technical and volleyball expertise and propel our investment in volleyball tools further, faster.

  • What’s happening to Volleymetrics?

    We’re aiming to integrate Balltime, Hudl and Volleymetrics right—not fast. Short term, you won’t see any changes to your Volleymetrics workflow. All of your data, video and tools will be right where you left them.

    While we’re excited about what’s coming, we want to be upfront that this is a long-term project. We don’t expect to see changes to Volleymetrics during the 2025 volleyball season, and we’ll keep you in the loop as we nail down specific timelines.

  • As a current Hudl customer, what does this mean for me?

    You’ll continue using Hudl as you are today. In the future, we’ll integrate Balltime’s impressive AI into your current Hudl products to help you get insights, faster – useful not only for matches and scouting, but for practice as well. This may also unlock new data – like serve speed and attack height. It’ll also mean that Hudl will be able to offer a beach volleyball solution.

    As our teams start working together, we’ll build a roadmap to integrate Balltime’s AI into Hudl and continue building on your current Hudl experience. Watch for updates via email or on Instagram.

  • I already have Hudl, but use Balltime as well. How will these work together?

    You can continue using both products as you do today. In the future, it will all be supported on Hudl. As we integrate Balltime’s product into Hudl’s, we’ll make sure to build the right features for beach and practice usage, as well as other core workflows that are powering your teams today. This page will be the best place to stay updated on plans. If you have thoughts on what the future could look like for these products, schedule a time to chat with our product team.

  • Can I still use my individual Balltime account?

    You can continue using your Balltime account as you have been. As we integrate Balltime’s product into Hudl’s and build a roadmap for the future, we’ll work with you on transitioning to Hudl. Get in contact with a rep for further questions.

  • What will happen to the integrations like SportsRecruits, University Athlete or Sporfie?

    We’re actively evaluating all integrations as our teams begin working together. While all integrations remain available for current users, we recommend keeping an eye on your email and this page for any updates. We're committed to providing advance notice of any significant changes to help ensure a smooth transition for our customers.

  • What will happen to my pricing?

    We’re committed to keeping your current Balltime pricing and service through your subscription period. As we bring Balltime’s AI capabilities into Hudl, we’ll work with you to make sure you have access to the tools your program needs.

  • How do I get help or support on Balltime products?

    Balltime customers can continue to get support by emailing contact@balltime.com, using the in-product chat, the Balltime Community on Facebook, or Balltime Academy. You can also reach out to Hudl’s email support using this form.

  • Will I have to move to Hudl? If so, what does that timeline look like?

    You can continue using Balltime as you have been. Eventually, you'll transition to using Hudl. You won't need to make that transition until we're confident that we've provided the right tools for your team and can do so with the least amount of disruption. We expect this to occur beyond your regular season to make it smooth, and won’t transition you to Hudl until your core workflows are in place in the Hudl product. For example, if you're using Balltime for beach volleyball, you will not need to move to Hudl until beach volleyball is fully supported in Hudl.
